OptiEnz Sensors
Please join us for the Bio Cluster September Topic
OptiEnz Sensors' president Chris Thompson will present an overview of the area's newest biotech startup. OptiEnz will revolutionize the ability to monitor the cleanliness and safety of water through patented bio-innovation. Prior to OptiEnz's founder, CSU professor Ken Reardon's technological breakthrough in the bio-engineering of enzymes, there has been no way to measure organic chemicals continuously, in real-time, on-site and at concentration; whether oil in the ocean, solvents in the groundwater or herbicides in the stream.
Speaker:
- Mr. Thompson was most recently CEO of First Opportunity Solutions, Hong Kong, a startup consulting services firm serving Southern China from 2008 to 2010. As Managing Director of Early Light Holdings since 2005, Mr. Thompson also provided management consulting services for energy and semiconductor clients. Since 1996 Mr. Thompson held senior corporate leadership roles with extreme growth and start-up firms in the semiconductor, telecommunication, publishing and industrial-processing industries.
