RMI² is a small non-profit lean in staff and resources, however rich in community involvement. There are many ways to become involved with the initiative. The following programs are opportunities for community members to join the effort of growing our innovation economy.
Access to Capital: Access to seed and growth capital are among the key success factors for technology entrepreneurs in the Northern Colorado region. If you are an accredited investor and are interested in investing in a high growth startup, please let us know.
Professional Service Providers: RMI2 has a network of sophisticated professional service providers in every realm of business expertise who provide discounted or pro bono advice to our clients.
Networking and education: RMI2 sponsors a number of forums and events that promote networking and business connections, entrepreneur education and community involvement. If interested in sponsoring an event or joining us in networking, please sign up here.
Industry Cluster Initiatives: RMI2 supports the region’s targeted industry cluster initiatives in the software, bioscience, chip design and clean energy fields. These cluster initiatives bring together business leaders, university researchers and government officials to develop strategies and pursue joint initiatives that stimulate long-term, sustained growth of the key industry clusters. RMI2 partners with the Larimer Bioscience Initiative and Northern Colorado Clean Energy Cluster and, in partnership with the City of Fort Collins, has recently launched a new Geospatial Information Systems/Software Cluster Initiative.
