A Hub For Entrepreneurial Activity
The Rocky Mountain Innovation Initiative is dedicated to enabling and accelerating the success of innovation-based startup companies in Northern Colorado. We actively promote the development of an entrepreneurial culture and the infrastructure to nurture and sustain scientific and technology-based ventures. We’re a hub for entrepreneurial activity.
As part of this mission, we offer entrepreneurs access to our new 30 thousand square foot innovation center. The building is much more than a collection of offices and meeting spaces. From the outdoor plaza to the secure parking pavilion for bicycles, from the solar panels on the carport roofs to the natural light that floods the building, it is an environment that nourishes both people and businesses.

The new building is designed to encourage collaboration. Every floor has informal meeting areas designed to foster a feeling of creativity and collaboration. The "garage" meeting rooms invoke a spirit of entrepreneurship. Tables in the plaza and the lounge café invite people to spend time together. The new facility is located within an urban renewal area and Colorado enterprise zone in the heart of Fort Collins. We’re right around the corner from the New Belgium Brewery and not far from the site of the new Museum & Discovery Science Center. The restaurants and coffeehouses of Old Town Fort Collins are just
a short walk away. We’re also close to banks, professional offices and governmental buildings. And for a
relaxing lunch-hour ride, just hop on the bike path that leads to natural areas along the Poudre River.
